Calomind Terms of Use

Last updated: 2026-10-25

The service

Calomind uses AI to estimate the calories and nutrients of meals from photos. Results are estimates and can be wrong. They're for reference only and are not medical, nutritional or health advice. If you have a medical condition, are pregnant, or have an eating disorder, talk to a professional.

Your account

You need an account to use Calomind. Keep your password safe. Don't abuse the service (automated mass requests, getting around the free quota with multiple accounts). Don't use the friends feature to harass others.

Free uses and subscriptions

New accounts get a number of free analyses (once per phone), then a daily free allowance, as shown in the app. We may change these numbers.

Subscriptions are billed by Apple or Google and renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged. Manage or cancel in your App Store / Google Play subscription settings. Refunds follow each store's policy.

Subscribers can use photo analysis heavily under fair use, up to 60 photo analyses a day (to prevent abuse); very heavy use may be served by a lighter AI model.

Your content

You keep the rights to the photos you take. You allow us to process them (send them to the AI service for analysis) to provide the service.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential damages.

Apple

If you got Calomind from the App Store, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Taiwan (R.O.C.).
